This page explains how to have your Solar Quotation account and the data associated
with it deleted. It applies to the Solar Quotation mobile app
(com.solarquotations.app) and to any account created through it.
1. How to request deletion
Email support@filesathi.com
from the email address registered on your account, with the subject
“Account deletion request”, and include:
- The email address and mobile number on the account.
- Your company name as it appears in the app, if you have set one.
- Whether you want the entire account deleted, or only
specific data (see section 4).
We verify that the request comes from the account holder before deleting anything.
If we cannot match the request to an account, we will write back and ask — we never
delete an account on an unverified request.
2. What gets deleted
When you ask us to delete your account, we remove:
- Your account and login credentials, including the link to Google Sign-In.
- Your name, email address, and mobile number.
- Your company profile — company name, logo, address, contact details, GSTIN and
bank details.
- Every quotation you created, including the customer details entered on them and
the generated PDF files.
- Your saved bill-of-material items and price lists.
- Team members you added to the account, and their access.
- Usage records tied to your account.
- Feedback you sent us from inside the app, including any voice notes.
Deletion is permanent. We cannot restore an account or its quotations afterwards,
so export or download any quotation PDFs you want to keep before you ask.
3. How long it takes
We acknowledge deletion requests within 7 days and complete them
within 30 days of verifying the request. Any copies held in routine
backups are removed as those backups rotate out, within 90 days.
4. Deleting only part of your data
You do not need to delete your whole account to remove individual records:
- A single quotation — delete it yourself in the app, from the
quotation list. This also removes the customer details on it and its PDF.
- A team member — the account owner can remove them under
Settings → Team.
- Company profile details — edit or clear them under Settings →
Company profile.
If you are an employee on someone else's company account, the account and its
quotations belong to that company. We can delete your personal user record, but the
company's quotations remain with the account owner.
5. What we keep, and why
- Transaction and tax records. Where a subscription payment was
made, we keep the minimum record of that transaction that we are required to keep
by law, for as long as the law requires.
- Payment details held by Google. Subscriptions purchased through
Google Play are processed by Google, not by us — we never hold your card details.
Deleting your Solar Quotation account does not cancel a Play subscription or delete
Google's own records. Manage or cancel those in the Play Store under
Subscriptions.
6. Google Sign-In
If you signed in with Google, deleting your Solar Quotation account removes the
information we received from Google and our link to your Google account. It does
not delete or affect your Google account itself.
